Formed in 1971, the NFTC (currently Freeway CAM (UK) Limited) is the foremost film revenue collection and monitoring agency operating from the United Kingdom. The company has a unique legal and financial structure. All monies are held on trust giving protection from insolvency or closure of the producer or any other parties, changes in ownership of the film or the company's own affairs.  

 

It operates with the twin purposes of:

 

• disbursing revenue in the order that has been agreed by all parties to the Collection Account Management Agreement

 

• providing an efficient, independent and ongoing revenue collection account management service for feature film financiers, producers and third party beneficiaries with a financial interest in the exploitation of a film.

 

In 2010, the NFTC was renamed Freeway CAM (UK) Limited.
